![]() All the tracks on this album were recorded by Reg Hall and Bill Leader in Camden Town,London in 1966,1967 and 1971. Bobby played the London pub scene with such musical luminaries as East Galway fiddler,Martin Byrnes, fellow Clare musicians,Tommy McCarthy ,Willie Clancy and Paddy Breen. In the liner notes,Reg Hall describes Bobby's"lonesome fiddling" as "reeking of rural Ireland".This music gave solace to many the Irish immigrant who settled in north London at that time and indeed ensured the continued good health of traditional Irish music into the future.
