 Laichtín Naofa Céilí Band
May 2007 re-release of the famous 1959 recording of Miltown Malbay's famous céilí band.
The recording was made available in cd format to comemmorate the 50th Anniversary of the first great Clare County Fleadh in Miltown Malbay in 1957 and was officially launched at the Fleadh Nua in Ennis.
Househole names in this band were Junior Crehan,J.C.Talty on flute,Willie Clancy on pipes and on double bass was Angela Merry who still lives,into her nineties and very lucid of mind according to Frank Whelan ,Fleadh Nua Chairman.
