Joseph Browne was a young person who lived for music and died tradgically at the age of nineteen. He was from near Crusheen in north Co. Clare and was a very gifted fiddler,piano and concertina player.He was in his first year of Medicine in University College Galway but his passion was music. The recordings on this album were not done professionally in a studio context but in the more meaningful settings of family events ,concerts and at Willie Clancy.
