RTE Radio na Gaeltachta April 2008 release of the first cd of the music and songs associated with the Willie Clancy Summer School.
The Summer School started in 1973 and Radio na Gaeltachta first aired in 1972.This was a cause of great pride to Willie himself that they had at last a radio station of their own.
The connection continued healthily over the years culminating in the launch of this double cd.

Dympna's first release is an album of the most beautiful ,rhythmic concertina music.She is probably one of the most self-deprecating musicians I have ever met and the limelight sits heavily on her shoulders
but she plays with the most perfect assurance and her music is indeed a treasure.
Definitely, Mrs. Crotty's re-incarnation.
