Kevin Griffin is one of the dominant traditional Irish musicians associated with the fabled North Clare village of Doolin.

   His last solo tenor banjo  recording was on the Ossian label and no longer exists so the arrival of this recording was unheralded and very much apprerciated.

  The recording came obout under the aegis of The Riches of Clare series of lunchtime concerts that has been running during the Summer months in Clare for the last three years.

   It is a live recording from the Burren Centre in Kilfenora and took place on the 19th June,2009.
