Notify's spring release of 2024 and it's a fascinating listening experience with Pádraig's imprint very obvious.
Apart from the hypnotic tunes and songs, the title caught my attention and it is a word common in the Corca Dhuibhne Gaeltacht area of west Kerry meaning "night visiting".
Tigh Airneáin means a house where people met up after a day's work and chatted, exchanged songs, played music and danced - a visiting house, a link to our rural past before pubs replaced this rich social aspect.
This release grows and grows on you.
